CHICAGO — The McKinley Park News, a micro-local online publication covering Chicago’s McKinley Park neighborhood, has launched a new program designed to support local food and drink establishments as they reemerge from profound economic challenges caused by the now-subsiding COVID-19 pandemic.

The Neighborhood Restaurant Revival program presents a mix of services to support these essential local businesses, said McKinley Park News Publisher Justin Kerr.

To qualify, a restaurant, bar or retail food service establishment must be within the McKinley Park Community Area or Central Manufacturing District. Restaurants taking advantage of a Sponsor deal must also be independently operated by local owners or chains, Kerr said.
